In this place? There is always someone against you having something, regardless of what it is.

No exceptions.

Maybe because there are few titles over and above emperor. - Grand emperor, royal Emperor, Emperor of all the galaxy, God-Emperor of Didcot?

They painted themselves into a corner as it is, since once you are the almighty, there are no gods left to slay.

But yeah, much as I don't care for it myself, it seems to be a bit short-sighted to make you emperor and not give you the title to go with it.

TBH within reason, there shouldn't be any bar to you choosing any title you like since you rule the entire galaxy.

C;mon Bioware, let us choose our own titles for slogging through all the KOTFE and KOTET story. - We earned it.

Im against an emperor title because it's too end game. Were the great emperor's that still go on random quests to help and save the galaxy on the front line!

That said, emperor of Zakuul or whatever, is a lot more suitable and doesn't sound end game at all.

Similarly, I want to know why NPCs don’t address me as “Your Imperial Majesty”. Have they no sense of decorum? Do they think of me as their little puppet? If I have to be Emperor, treat me like an Emperor! Not Joe Schmo from down the street!

I agree, tho' its probably tricky to code all and any titles. - We never even hear our own chosen name after all.

Yea well that could happen. It could also happen that, considering everyone makes a cannon in their heads to bypass the sometimes nonsensical events in the game, then everyone just believes he is the unique emperor.

My point: those who dont like it, dont have to use it, but allow those who like it to have it. And if some of you folks get bothered for the sight of several 'emperors' in the fleet, then grow up and ignore it ffs. Live your life and let others live theirs.

Probably becouse of this. There can be 1000 Jedi Masters, but they never gonna give us Grandmaster title.

Tip: if it's a title...... every active player has a crack at it...... so..... everyone can have it and it's nothing special.

Some things should just remain under the complete control of the studio.... and so that precludes a server full of Emperors.

It's literally in my first post :/ xD Like I said I honestly don't see it bothering most people. Anybody like me at least (Story/Solo) will pay little to no attention to other players. Here's one that's supposed to also be "unique", Barsen'thor. There's only meant to be ONE. There's also only meant to be ONE Wrath of the Empire. ONE Battlemaster. ONE Hero of Tython. ONE Master of Hidden Knowledge. How come they don't hold the same problem? Just because the title would be available hardly means EVERYONE is gonna use it. Tastes differ, as this thread clearly demonstrates.

As someone else here said I'm not against the title not being simply "Emperor *Name*" which seems more endgame and instead being something like "Eternal Emperor *Name*" or "Alliance Emperor *Name*" or even "*Name*, Emperor of the Eternal Alliance" if that isn't too wordy. Edit: I just realised I kinda sound like Minister Lorman from KOTET picking his Emperor title in the mail you get :p

Oh and also might as well throw this out there, what about an "Alliance Commander" title? Or is there one? Getting a strange feeling it might be the title you earn for getting all specialists to top rank not sure though..

So then why doesn't it bother you that there's more than one Barsen'thor? Along with the many other "unique" titles that everybody could have if they liked? Oh and also, how would THIS be the thing that bothers you when there's already 500 Lana clones running around on the fleet with their respective characters? You aren't unique. We already know this. Why hide from it just so some people don't have to see a title? If it bugged you you could just turn the nameplates off :/

How can you GUARANTEE if there was an Emperor title EVERYBODY would use it? If either of you had actually read the whole post instead of nitpicking tiny bits you'd see I already said tastes DIFFER. There is simply no way in hell everybody on the fleet would be using it. Otherwise I'd be seeing a LOT more doubles as it is and I for one just don't. Some people do NOT CARE about the story. There are PvPers, OPs players etc. and they like showing that off by using their earned titles which are exclusive to the modes they play such as how a non PvPer can never have the prefix version of the Battlemaster title and other Valor titles.

Who said that? Nobody. The person you quoted wasn't serious. I don't get why it's such a big deal when we're talking about optional features such as titles. if you don't like it, cool, don't use it. Nobody is suggesting forcing anything on anybody here.

Because we at the Alliance Commander, not Emperor/Empress. And we may not even be Alliance Commander for too much longer...

But you aren't though xD I mean that title has the exact problem most people here seem to be attributing to having an Emperor title. Everyone can have it. Or at least every Warrior. Which is a sizable portion of the community. So we could easily have 200 Wraths running around on the fleet but yet we don't.

Because we at the Alliance Commander, not Emperor/Empress. And we may not even be Alliance Commander for too much longer...
