It will change the resolution to 800x600 from 1360x768 and appear as a tiny little black rectangle. After about 3 minutes it will close out. Since it looks like the problem is with resolution, there should be a pretty simple fix. Go into %appdata%, then Local, then find your "SWTOR" folder. Once there, go into SWTOR -> Settings and then the file "client_settings." Open "Client_settings" in notepad. Alter the labels "Height" and "Width" to your desired resolution. Alternatively, you can simply copy the settings from here. (They are my graphics settings however, and may be too high for your laptop's performance. It should make sure that you can at least load in, though!) I tried both ways you suggested and neither of them worked. After clicking launch The game will turn to a black screen and change my resolution from 1366x768 to 800x600. It will then start to load for about 15 seconds if that and then turn black, Ive tried waiting out the black screen but the game times out and closes.
