I apologise if this has been asked before but I did try to look through the archives.

 

The Jedi Library item was part of a Cartel Market pack that hasn't been seen in nearly a year. They do appear on my server on the GTN from time to time but with a huge price attached.

 

It seems like a decoration that should be so fundamental to pretty much any Jedi character. Does anyone know if they plan to bring it back for those who were slow to realise, and those who are newer players who never saw it the first time?

 

Or am I missing something obvious and it's actually available if you know how to look?

Hm. This? http://tor-decorating.com/jedi-library/ ? I have one I bought from the GTN some time ago, sadly I can't post a screenie atm, but according to Tor Decorating it's just from that pack. I think your best bet is to try the GTN, possibly post a request in your server forums and see if anyone has one to sell. It might pop up from a chance cube or something, they do spit out decos on occasion. It's a nice deco, I agree it would be nice to bring it back. It's rather tricky to get a good Jedi look and that one is a great addition.

Indeed. Thus far, that is what I've had to do.

 

However, it doesn't quite have the look of the Jedi Library item in that 'Attack of the Clones', Obi Wan looking up Kamino kind of way. I'm quite surprised in that sense that something 'Jedi' in theme is not either generally available on the Cartel Market like the chairs are, or craft-able. To have it in just one pack that hasn't been seen available for a year or so seems a real shame to me.

It'll keep turning up from grand chance cubes at least.

A bit of additional advice. Consider making a private guild, and creating a stronghold with it. That way, you only need 1 library in your collection and then can donate them for 25k each. This lets you create spectacular libraries and other sic rooms at a fraction of the cost. Have a look at my GSH if you like. I created a huge library there. Screenshot doesn't do it justice.
