Jedi Covenant Stock Night November 28th

Hey guys,

Jedi Covenant, even though it is the 2nd most active GSF server, has no events. Therefore Secforce Squadron has decided to host one.

RULES: Only stock ships. Can be any ship, just has to be the stock configuration and no upgrades.

WHERE: Jedi Covenant, Nov. 28th, 8PM EST (1 AM GMT)

TEAMSPEAK: Yes the Secforce Teamspeak Server will be used. Info will be provided at event.

FACTION: Pub Side (Going to try and do wargames to prevent people from ruining it)

PRIZE: Vote for best player by all participants, since we're too lazy to actually do math and determine it statistically. This will work by mailing me (Eudoxia) in game with your vote.

2 Million Prize, plus one Space Jockey and Two Galactic Ace's Starfighter packs. Will also scrounge some color thingies and gas canisters out of our guild storage for you.

They didn't have any grand starfighter packs, so had to get the next best thing. Sorry guys :(

Something we will consider for the future.

I've also had some other ideas for events:

T3 Scout Night (Just for the Overpowered Mayhem :D).

Clarion night (because Clarions are the best).

Upgraded Stock Night (Only T1 Scout/SF/Bomber/GS with the stock components, but they can be fully upgraded).

I also thought a "rocket pods night" where you could only get kills with rocket pods would be interesting. :p

i will mos def try to make it to this one. Depends on work/family but maybe i can catch a match or 2.. The other ideas you came up with make me smile. Sounds like it could be fun. what if we could make our own escort missions haha. Everyone is in t1 strikes and have to escort the team bomber to the opposing cap ship. i made that up just now lmao.

Traesha and I talked about that, and we figured since it's so hard to keep track of who actually does the best we'll do a vote for best player. Just have people whisper/mail their votes to me at the end of the night and I'll tally it up and figure out who won and then mail them the reward.

I'll definitely try to show up... since I already did my homework :) and made a new character, did Tython, flew and bought extra ships. I like having a bit of variety. Those ideas like Spearpoint Night, Clarion Night or Comet Breaker Night are cool and should be fun for a few matches, but I might get bored too quickly.

I'm also not sure going pub only is a good idea. Do most imp players know about this? Is anyone going to announce this on the imp gsf channel or ops channel? Unless you are going for the guild conquest, I don't see any problem to have both factions in the event.

I'm planning on being there pub-side on Beak'r (hangar already prepped). Doubt it will happen, but if enough people want to fly imp side, I can prep an alt over there for stock. I agree that tryin to keep it as much pub-side as possible seems to be a good idea as it should limit encounters with non-participants.

See y'all in a bit.

Update: I was a moron and never posted time:

8 PM EST-12 PM EST (1-5 AM GMT).

I'll have a registrar of everyone who comes going for the vote, so you don't have to stay the whole time. Mail your vote to me when you log.

re: the time...I get the 8pm - 12am EST, but not sure what's represented in parentheses. Is that round 2 for the super late-nighters?

I may be a little late, but I do plan to make an appearance (Laughing-stock).

Hey everyone!

For Jedi Cov's first event, and for me not posting the time, this was a pretty big success. We had about 2 dozen participants, including many from Shadowlands and the European servers.

Here's a quick list:

- Nasra (Traesha)

- Meilun

- Sky'lance

- Beak'r (Enurrsha)

- Secforcefenix

- Stock-market

- Aeschyphlis (Jure)

- Stock-srw

- Reiko-stock

- Im-stock

- Bruno'stachel

- Laughing-stock (Zuckernaut)

- Voxyfela (Maulkat)

- Mbwun-stock

- Maguari-stock

- Stock-ton

- Xyliantak

- Barb-wiire (one of the few imps that tried to participate I believe)

- Agranos

- Amyatil

The games themseleves were all over the place: stock gunships tended to ruin the few stock matches we had, but there were a couple good stock vs. stock wargames, and we 3-capped the imps (who weren't participating at all) in stock ships several times, lol.

One of the really good stock games we had:

Big shoutout to everyone that came! I counted up the votes and the winner is Stock-SRW (closely followed by Stock-it). Gratz!

Prize will be mailed as soon as Traesha gets on, she forgot to give me full bank access... -_-

Sorry I couldn't make it last night, was out of town, congrats to Siraka-srw and Lompi-srw for being voted for best pilot and runner up last night! We may try to fly on Jedi Covenant more frequently as harbinger seems to have quieted down as of late.
