What's your best losing match?

I had a TDM match flying a t1 gunship where my score was 5 kills, 0 assists, and 1 death. Considering that the final match score was: my side 5, bad guys 50, I thought that was one of my best matches. I have never barrel-rolled as much as I did in that one.

I had my share of losing matches where I "did well" (like here) but usually I forget them as soon as they end (unless I'm angry at my teammates for doing something stupid). In my favorite losing match, though, I had so hilariously bad team that I really couldn't be mad at them: here

I was trying to master the Clarion, to have at least one decent ship Republic side. At the start I went C and captured it, however after a while it flipped neutral (because the enemies outnumbered me 4:1 there, and I went to kill a gunship). It stayed neutral for quite some time, with me fighting against the superior numbers, until I eventually died. All the time, my team was doing ... whatever. After respawn I went and took A, and since the score was like 100:900 at the moment, I couldn't be bothered to do anything more but to defend the satellite and wait for the match to end.

I don't have any screenshots or anything, but I think I've had a few losing matches where I topped the charts for my team in most categories with somewhere around 4-6 kills, 8-10 assists, and 1-2 deaths.

I'm no ace so it's not much next to the crazy examples you guys have been posting. I don't know if I've ever hit double digits in kills, but I think my highest number of assists in a single match was... 18? (That one was probably in a winning match though.) I've also got my 800 or so games spread around between 8 characters (some solo, and some that only quest and fly with a friend) so I haven't actually mastered any of my ships yet. (A few characters are getting close though, with just 5-6 expensive (10k and 15k) upgrades left on certain ships.)

Shortly after I started with GSF in July I was looking for help in both the german and english forums looking for guides, builds all sorts of that stuff. I realized quickly that helpful threads can mostly be found here so a couple of weeks ago I decided to check out "The Bastion" and how I manage to fly among and against "the experts".

So I hopped into my Novadive ready to get my butt kicked to oblivion....we lost...but:

Last night, when I got my wife to play GSF (she very rarely does). She hopped into a gunship for the first time, and ended up immediately taking the top ranked spot on our side on the scoreboard at the end of the match. Even though we lost, it was enough of a positive experience that we may now have another at least semi-regular player in the GSF queue :)

I actually posted about this one a few months ago...and it still kind of makes me mad.

The score was about 700 to about 875 my team in the lead, we had control of satellites B and A. At this point the other team starts to take B. Every single person (except me) on my team goes to try to save B. We lose it anyway. Then, with a score around 725 to about 915, my team decided they absolutely needed B to win. The other team got smart and sent some ships towards A. I alone held A in my bomber, A hyp beacon not too far away, screaming for help from the rest of the team who kept kamakazing B, until our score was at 981. That number is now burned into my head as that was our score at the time the other team captured A and now had all three sats. Their score at the time was a little below 900.

I believe this was from super serious saturday the 29th

JUST had one of those myself, on the winning side though. We had a pretty big lead through most of the match until, once again, 'GOTTA GET B' Fever kicked in and the team started kamikaze'ing B and we lost all of them. Fortunately, this time enough people were paying attention and we got C back in time.

This was a pretty good losing match: http://i.imgur.com/vzIvH2g.jpg

The very next match was another close one, with a twist. It was 7 vs. 9. I was able to check the line-up 8 times during the match, and it was always 7 vs. 9: http://i.imgur.com/EzoXxcO.jpg

"Where is our team?" Asked one pilot. Good question. In the end we blew our lead and lost by one point: http://i.imgur.com/dzCmFYY.jpg

How can this happen? Did a group queue together and then decide not to play? Did no one else queue? Or figured it was a backfill and declined?

Looks like "Bigbanks" in the second one understands how to win in TDM.
