  1. If they are going to stop implementing new companions, then we should be able to unlock companions from the previous seasons.
  2. Precisely! Making sure it's an option so everyone can choose what they'd prefer would be the best way to go.
  3. I would love to be able to have a toggle option which turns off (or on) the automatic function which stows your weapon(s) after combat ends. I often like to keep my lightsaber/blaster/rifle/whatever out and ready after a mob or boss kill. The auto function which stows it for you happens quickly, and I am constantly drawing my weapons again immediately after. A simple button which would toggle this automatic stowing of weapons to be on or off would be great. That way if a player wants their weapons to be stowed immediately after combat for them, they can leave the option on by default. Or, if a player prefers to keep them at the ready at all times, toggle it off, and their weapons will never be stowed for them after combat, and it must be done manually. Thanks for reading!
  4. Never said I was upset about it, just pointing out how silly it is.
  5. When will SWTOR nerds learn that these are different species, not races.
  6. These armor sets require a very high amount of event items and grinding. It would be nice if they were Bound to Legacy. The weapons are already, and the necessary events required to obtain the necessary currency items for everything Ambassador Jirrik offers do not happen very often. For all of the work required to acquire these armor sets, Bound to Legacy seems like a fair reward to me.
  7. Glad to see they're finally rebuilding the GTN. There are games 10 years older than swtor with better market systems. I would like to see the ability to purchase parts of a stack again. I have no idea why this was removed. If there is a stack of 100 items, allow me to purchase any amount of them. The seller should be able to specify whether this is an option or not prior to listing. And also, let us post orders! If I'm looking to buy something for a specific price, let us post it to the GTN under a separate category page. If someone has the item(s) and agrees with the price, allow them to fulfill the orders. Graphs to see price history would be neat too!
  8. This is a poor tax. You are now going to be punished for being poor, while the rich get richer. It's just like real life! Honestly, the forums are completely inundated with criticism AGAINST these new "economy fixes", and yet the trigger was arbitrarily pulled on it anyway. The only thing Quick Travel fees are going to do is harm new players, but the game needs new players. It doesn't need more rich veteran players, who will not be affected by this change whatsoever. I recently got back into the game after a many-years hiatus and I was shocked to see the state of the economy and the GTN. All I had to do was sell a few old CM items I had saved in my Cargo Bays and I am well over 2b in Credits, and apparently this amounts to "barely anything" these days. The last time I played, reaching 1b was absolutely unheard of. Only the biggest and hardest of core Guilds were able to get their Guild Banks to such levels, and now it's just completely out of control. However, my girlfriend who recently started playing with me again, would have been absolutely screwed over if she wanted to purchase anything. Even as a Subscriber she would have no chance as a brand new player to get into the market, and now you are adding travel fees on top of it? The only reason she's going to survive is beccause I have a stupid amount of Credits that will never be affected by these changes, and I can simply give her millions to get started. Honestly, at this point, it the economy is beyond repair or salvation. Unpopular hot take, but unless they are simply going to drain everyone's credits across all servers and put a hard cap of (for a random example) 10 million credits for all players, they may as well just leave it alone. There is no going back, they allowed it to get to the point of no return. Either leave it be or make a completely drastic change. Quick Travel fees is not the change we need, not by a long shot.

  10. Wowee. A two month delay. How absolutely broken was 7.0? It was supposed to come out a week from today lol.
  11. That's ridiculous. They're going to ruin our heraldry but then not reimburse us for it & just expect us to pay for it again? That makes no sense.
  12. I own a Guild on an alt & the heraldry symbol was inexplicably reset. I was also told that this has happened before, but players were given credits to redesign it. However, I do NOT have any credits to redesign the heraldry symbol. What gives? I tried submitting a ticket but they said report it as a bug, which doesn't help me whatsoever. Absolutely pathetic.
  13. Jugg Tanks definitely ftw, that's why I main them. You can play VGs/PTs just fine - as fine as fine can be for them - but their applicability to Operations is limited & virtually non-existent for Master Mode for the reasons I described earlier.
  14. I can completely understand the presence of RNG within MMOs, especially for loot. But you should NEVER use RNG with a Class. That is a serious mistake, & unfortunately, PT/VG Tanks are plagued with RNG in their rotations, & I never see anyone talking about it. When you damage, the CD on Firestorm has a 50% chance to reset. When you take damage, the CD on Rocket Punch also has a chance to reset. So if you use Jet Storm you might proc Firestorm right away. But you can use it twice in a row if you Firestorm > Rocket Punch > Firestorm. In perfect circumstances you could use Rocket Punch again right away from being attacked, making it Firestorm > Rocket Punch > Firestorm > Rocket Punch However, this is most likely not the case. More often than not you're going to waste an ability on a free CD, since Firestorm or Rocket Punch are likely going to tick before you can use one or both of them due to the mechanics of how they interact with combat. Stockstrike/Rocket Punch has its CD reset upon chance when defending an attack. This means if you open with it, you may be able to use it right away again. However, this chance procs even if you haven't used it yet, so you have potentially wasted a passive CD without intending to. Ion Storm/Firestorm has its CD reset upon damaging. So you can open with it for massive damage & potentially use it again extremely soon thereafter if you hit the 50% chance mark. But by then, you've likely already defended an attack, & wasted a Stockstrike/Rocket Punch freebie. So either way you're running the risk if wasting a free proc with Rocketpunch or wasting a free proc with Firestorm, all because of an RNG rotation. This is a serious design flaw & it inhibits the way the abilities can be used. Additionally, I think we can all agree that PTs/VGs are seriously lacking in the Defensive Cooldowns department. Whilst their natural Armor Rating & Damage Reduction are the highest, when it comes to high burst damage, they are in serious trouble. When compared to Juggernauts with their powerful self heals & big DCDs, & of course the Assassin - which has more DCDs than both of the other Tanks combined - the PT ends up falling far behind in terms of abilities that can save them in a pinch. In their current state PTs are less viable for most content as Tanks & virtually useless in MM Gods. Their rotations are slow, their DCDs are weak, & their damage is low. Solutions to this could look something like: • Tweaking the 50% proc on Firestorm when you cause direct damage to only occur ~after you have used Firestorm once already. You could gain a buff explaining that Firestorm has been used, & the next time you cause direct damage you have a chance to gain a second stack of the buff, which will cause Firestorm to do double damage & generate no heat, as it currently does when procing. • Tweaking the chance on Rocketpunch so that it does not proc before using it once already upon taking damage. Again, upon using it once you could gain a buff, explaining that the next time you defend an attack you have a chance to reset the CD of Rocketpunch. • Adding a better self heal & better DCDs, like big shield buffs or a 3-second 100% dodge ability. • Changing Deadly Onslaught to a single fire AoE ability. The PTs rotation is slow & they don't have enough abilities. I'd love to see Unload come back to be honest, but if that's not an option, streamlining Onslaught would help to speed up the damage/threat they can do. I also think the visuals for Onslaught should be changed, because the giant missile launcher that comes out of your back looks ridiculous. • Add a Reflect ability. The other Tanks have it, even some DPS/Heals class have it, why can't the PT/VG? They're called Shield Techs for crying out loud, you'd think they would have a reflecting shield ability anyway. I know this was a lot to read, but I am absolutely passionate about Tanking, & I want to see the Tanks treated fairly. Yes, some Tanks are going to be better than others in certain situations, but one Tank is always going to be the worst when their mechanics are based on RNG. This isn't about making PTs OP, it's about bringing them up to par with Juggs & Sins, because right now, they're not even close. Thanks for reading.
