  1. What is the cost of the skill and experience if one pug can ruin a game for you? You can't count to 8 and know when there is a time to go help a pug before he calls for incoming? Or you don't know how many stealthers are in the other team and what they are supposed to do now when you don't see them? I actually don't think that people who don't care for reg wins but care to queue regs and go gank whoever they see first can't count to 8. They just want team death match with respawn and use whatever map to simulate this. I also would be happy to play such a map in SWTOR. It just makes no sense to me misusing the map objectives in such a way. Imo going farming mobs on Alderaan is nearly the same fun with rare excetions.
  2. I am sure everyone who play regs these days should agree with me. If we loose a 8v8 match with 50+ kills recorded without dying once we should get <Mad Dog> achievement. If we win the match with 10+ deaths and 0 kills we should get <Mad Capper> achievement. I can't understand why all the other achievements are in place while these two are missing. It makes no sense from the perspective of the current regs meta.
  3. This just can't be solved this way. The penalty will be small? Nothing will change, people will quit the same way. The penalty will be noticeable? Anyone who would rage quit otherwise will stay and afk or stack somewhere waiting for the match end. Like some people do now (who would quit but loss of cxp is enough penalty for them). Does anyone want more people waiting for the match end instead of quitting??
  4. I am not sure the problem you want to solve can be solved. You don't like people quit, I understand that. But what about people afk'ing for all the same reasons the others would quit, but these guys still want to grind for cxp? Or finding safe place and stacking there, as they think nothing better can be done anyway? Much worse than a quit for the rest of the team if team wants to try winning. Its really better to let people quit whenever they want and hope for a quick and good replacement than incline those just to afk instead. My idea was to have 'Surrender' button, if, say, 4 guys press it, game ends. But this is no go due to obvious cxp grind exploit
  5. It worked for me on dummy after Star Parse update, but didn't work in the new Umbara FP with the same message. Can it be due to location name there has nested brackets: '(Crisis on Umbara (Veteran))'?
  6. I also found a temporary workaround here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=928954&page=16 And I don't know, maybe since the issue affects not just Linux but also Windows Vista and XP users, SWTOR developers would want to issue some compatibility version of launcher which is using SHA-1 certs, if it fixes the issue for old Windows it should also fix it for current Wine version either.
  7. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43469 If you can apply patches to Wine source and build it, you can get it fixed right away. Or maybe the fixes will appear in Wine soon (probably in Wine Staging first), though no idea how soon this can happen.
