  1. When the servers merged a while back, my two legacies were merged and only the highest level legacy was taken. How is that fair? I put equal work into both legacies, which I had been working on since the day the game was released. Now after being with this game for the past two years or so, I am only at legacy level 34. Which prevents me from getting Treek on all my characters. Sure, I could outright buy her for 1800+ cartel coins, but Bioware does not deserve that money since they caused the situation. I have submitted countless tickets in the game and they all get bullcrap replies back that dance around the issue and give me no resolution. They pretty much say, "The support we provide is both worthless and pointless, but we hope you continue to funnel your hard earned money into our game so we can continue to both disappoint you and steal from you. Thank you for being both a subscriber and a frequent cartel coin purchaser. We still don't give two sh*ts about you. This horribly low level of service and dont-give-a-crap attitude is how we plan to become the number one MMO out there. Thank you and have a nice day!" Seriously Bioware, do your customer service reps in game give a crap about anything we write them about? 90% of my tickets are just bounced back saying thanks for writing and ignoring my issue/request. I could understand blowing off a free-to-play player, however I am both a subscriber and cartel coin purchaser, not to mention I've been here since day one of release. Before that actually, since I was in beta. So why the heck can't I get my legacy boosted up to level 40, since it would have been there had you merged my two legacies properly instead of dropping all that experience from my lower level legacy completely? They were both close to the same level, which would have easily put me above legacy level 40. Now I am leveling countless characters trying to reach legacy level 40, just so I can enjoy Treek on all my characters at 300k credits a pop, instead of having to spend $20 bucks per character to have her. Can you PLEASE stop trying to rob me blind and allow me to have back what I've already earned? Good God, it's not a lot to ask. You act like you take your que from the US Government. How about acting like a real top tier gaming company and resolve the issue *YOU* caused instead of ignoring it and your players completely? Do you even want my money? I'm practically throwing it at you in order to just get back what I've already earned. GAHT DAMN! /frustrated
  2. Easy enough answer is make the Carrick Station (both on the station and off of it while in your ship) part of the general chat zone. The feeling of community doesn't come just from seeing lots of people running around, but from seeing people chatting and chatting with those people. And if you were hanging out in free space around the spacedock in your ship, you will see all those same people but in their ships. All those people are still around and visible to give that big community feeling.
  3. It's not unnecessary. I am giving constructive feedback on what they could do to keep my money and to make even more money from other people who want the same exact thing. I've seen people asking for it since before the game was even released. I really thought it would have been added by now, but it just hasn't. And I didn't find Star Trek Online until recently and found that their space combat is both open and really fun. It's similar to Eve actually, but I don't believe you can get out of your ship in Eve and do missions planet-side. So yeah, in the realm of necessary and unnecessary, companies are all about making money and it's necessary to please the customer to do that. So get to pleasing the customer by adding in open space combat. 'Nuff said!
  4. Well then, in 2014 or 2015 they can have my money again... if they do it right. Sorry, but this is Star Wars and so much of what we all loved about the movies revolved around the epic space battles. The missions on rails crap they have just doesn't cut it. Star Wars without open space combat might as well just be called "Wars".
  5. The lack of open space combat in this "Star Wars" game is really disconcerting. It's just not epic without open space combat like the way Battlefront II did it. I know they claim to have some big space project going on, but with no details out we can safely assume that has been scrapped due to poor reception of the game at launch. I downloaded "Star Trek Online" which is also free to play, and although SWTOR beats it on so many levels, the open space combat in Star Trek Online blows away anything SWTOR has. Sorry, it's been said a million times, but Space Combat on Rails (a la StarFox) is just not fun. Let me know when you get your "Big Space" project up and running and you can have my money again. Until then, my wallet (and subscription) is closed. Good Day, Sir. I SAY GOOD DAY!
  6. Ok, you're an idiot. Please don't post in my thread again. You're blasting me when you misread my statement. You know damn well what I meant. I am talking about removing the mods from one piece of gear and moving it to another. It costs credits to remove them from one in order to put them in another. Not to pay to put them in another piece of gear. Understand? I did not mean switching the mods between two pieces of custom gear so they both retain the mods. I'll say it again. I am talking about taking the mods from your main gear and moving them into another set of gear, like the custom gear you purchase on the cartel market. That means you buy the cartel market gear for real world money then have to spend in-game money to remove the mods you want from the original gear in order to put said mods into the cartel market gear. This makes people hesitant from buying gear off the cartel market due to the cost of removing the mods from the original piece of gear. Do I need to spell it out any clearer to you? Do I need to say the same thing twenty different ways so you understand it? Perhaps it's time for you to learn to not take what you read so literally and develop some kind of reading comprehension skills. Everyone knows it costs credits to remove the mod you want from a piece of gear in order to put it into another piece of gear. Who gives a crap if the destination gear's mods gets destroyed? Hello? McFly? Anybody home? Good Lord, it's like talking to a wall.
  7. Can anyone explain to me why anyone would spend actual money on customizable gear from the Cartel Market that also requires you to spend absurd amounts of in-game credits to swap your mods into? I personally HATE how the Battlemaster gear looks on my Bounty Hunter, and I would love to buy some cool customizable gear off the Cartel Market and swap my mods into it. However, if I am spending real life currency on items from the cartel market, I don't want to get hit in my virtual wallet either. That is just ridiculous. The whole reason why people even play games like Champions Online and DC Universe Online is because you can freely and easily redesign the entire look of your characters, which keeps the game fresh and fun. No one wants to stare at the same costume day in and day out. And sometimes people want to experiment with costume changes without having to fork out a ton of in game credits to do so. I personally believe that Bioware would make a ton more money with the Cartel Market if they would completely remove the credit sink to swap mods to gear. Or at least remove it for subcribers or give it some kind of cool down. I just can't understand the reasoning by putting up such a terrible visual limitation on a visually stunning game. Really Bioware, what were you thinking? What ARE you thinking? I just can't understand some of your terribly piss poor decisions you've made when it comes to this game. You like money, right Bioware? Of course you greedy monkeys do. So remove the credit sink in relation to swapping mods between gear for subscribers, and I think you will see an influx of that money you love so much.
  8. I want a response on this too! Which piece of Pub BM gear has this enhancement? I have been looking for it on my Sage but can't find it. Maybe it's one particular piece that slipped through. By the way, how did you come to find this out? And do we know how many Pubs are abusing it? This would totally explain why Pub DPS in Warzones is so much higher than Imps. I see so many Battlemasters running around on each side, but the Pubs always seem to out-dps the imps and win most of the warzones. People abusing this would cause a pretty significant advantage for their side. This is not fair. And after todays craptastic warzones, I don't think I even want to play anymore knowing the other side has an unfair advantage like this. I thought both sides were completely EQUAL!? Well bullcrap to that!
  9. *BUMP* Let's bring this post back to life, because this needs to be addressed. All the enhancements on Imp BM gear have Accuracy and some other stat. If Pubs have access to a Power/Surge enhancement than that crap don't fly! FIX THIS NOW BIOWARE! All level 50 Imp players need to be mailed 5 of these type enhancements and an apology. Pubs roflstomp the Imps so much because the gear is obviously NOT BALANCED. Can anyone post which piece of Pub BM gear has the Advanced Adept Enhancement 25 on it?
  10. You are exactly right, Sir! I also work a lot and have a family to take care of. Sometimes I just can't get on until really late and by then the queues just aren't popping. I really wish there was an alternate way to grind out WZ comms. Why would people care anyways because a skilled player in all War Hero who PVP'd for it all will still always beat an unskilled player in all War Hero gear who grinded it out on PVE content. Afterall, PVP gear can be used to do PVE content, so why not allow PVE content to get PVP gear? Maybe then we'd have more people getting involved in PVP? I'm sorry but by forcing level 50's to get ROFLSTOMPED in recruit gear for weeks/months until they can get War Hero gear is just going to keep so many people away. Like I said, it's just not fun and therefore lots of people will just not do it at all.
  11. And here is another one who COMPLETELY GETS IT! I am glad I voiced my opinion and found out there are others who feel the same way. Usually you post something on the forums and it's a thousand pages of people telling you how much you are QQing, how bad you are, and can they have your stuff. So what I am seeing/feeling is VERY REAL and an obvious problem. The people who it's not a problem to are the ones who just don't care. I don't see how anyone can say they have fun getting ROFLSTOMPED endlessly by epic augmented rated War Heros. EDIT: Oh, and SHAME ON YOU Bioware mods for trying to hide my QQ post in the suggestions forums when it was not even close to a suggestion. We all know the Suggestions forum is where posts go to die. No one looks there, not you, not us, not anyone. Stop trying to hide every post you don't want people to see in there.
  12. I agree with this guy. Give gear better stats but remove expertise.
  13. But that is just it. There wasn't much if any disparity in the 10-49 PVP range. Everyone got bolstered to level 49 so it just came down to abilities then. It was much more even, much more fair, and thus more fun. But I have leveled so many characters I just don't want to do it anymore. I, myself, scored 17 medals before as a level 11 and was number one DPS and top medals that game. It happens lots of games and I took screenshots of it too. In the 10-49 range it's more about skill and less about gear. I can roll up on a subpar player in the 50's bracket who just happens to be in War Hero gear and not take any damage off him so of course he beats me. That's great that he worked for that gear, but his skill still sucks. And that is where the fun is lost. Games where gearscore outweighs player skill are just not fun. I hear that game TERA or something requires skill because you actually have to aim and what not like a shooter game. Don't get me wrong, I want to 'WANT' to keep playing this game, but the desire is drastically fading away because what was fun while leveling is no longer fun at 50. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around?
  14. This is not a suggestion post, so don't place it there. It's a *** is going on with the future of this game post. I've been a fanboy of this game but just recently started aqcuiring 50s. And what I've found out is the game suddenly stops. I mostly PVP so I know I am missing a whole lot, but it's what I enjoy. The 10-49 bracket was an absolute blast and I had fun every single match. But at 50... BLAH. The second you enter your first 50 match, ROFLSTOMPED. Even with crappy Recruit gear on. So you start your painful grind for a few measley WZ commendations per match, but you encounter endless ranked war heroes and conquerors in gear a billion time better than your own. I have literally sat behind a scoundrel who didn't run and just went to town dpsing him and I couldn't make his HP budge. And in the 10-49 bracket I was always top dps. There was no one else healing him either. He would just throw on a heal or two and be back at full health. It's just ridiculous when it comes to the massive gap between new 50's and geared 50's. I'm sorry, but PVPing should be fun but when you hit 50 it's just not. Not to mention all the jerks who talk crap to you and laugh/spit when you can't take them down but you keep trying. It's just demeaning and demoralizing. I know people say HANG IN THERE but really why should a player suffer this much? It seems like so many other games do PVP better, so why am I even wasting my time? There is no other way to get WZ commendations either. At least give us some other means to grind out some WZ comms when the queues aren't popping late at night or we just get tired of dealing with jerks, organized teams, and players who can 2-shot you. Tell me again, why can't we have PVP SPACE BATTLES? I was really hoping for something reminiscent of Battlefront II when I got this game, but instead I got StarFox space battles on rails. Once you finish the objectives you can literally walk away and not touch the controls and still win the mission. Come on Bioware, I've got two accounts with you, pre-ordered the game in July 2011, and been on your side every step of the way, but I am just worn out and not having fun anymore. Tell me Bioware, why should I keep paying and playing? Give me something to really get excited for! Whatcha got?! By the way, yes I am QQing. If you don't have QQs over some aspect of this game, then you are probably spending all your time trolling the forums instead of playing it.
